Abstract

Tendencies of technical and technological innovation in mineral deposits exploration, mining and mineral processing.A b s t r a c t. Innovation is an integrated part of most human activities. In recent years, along with the development of digitization, computerization and automation, it creates new areas of activity, enabling the integration of people, machines and systems. These changes are so far-reaching and so dynamic, that they are considered as the fourth industrial revolution. Obviously, they also apply to the field of mineral deposits exploration, as well as the mining and processing industry. This article presents the main trends conducted in these fields, illustrating them with selected examples, showing some of the most promising technologies, processes and devices.
