Problems of designing and performing geological engineering site investigationin Poland.
A b s t r a c t. The article describes particular stages of investigation on foundation soil in Poland and current legal situation on documenting results of subsoil tests and procedures for approving geological engineering documentation. Quality of performed tests in compliance with assumed geological structure of region was described. Issues on selection of investigation points placement for completion of linear structures and constructions with deep foundations were also raised. Moreover, geotechnical risks arising from imprecisely performed tests on geological engineering were characterized.The article describes the current legal situation concerning research documenting the subsoil and procedures for the approval of geological and engineering.
