The current state of exploration and development of domestic rock mineral deposits.
A b s t r a c t. The article presents a concise description of management of raw rock materials in Poland, the state of geological exploration of its the deposits, restriction of resource base development, and changes in trends in regional terms. With regard to key groups of minerals their current economic use was described. In recent years there are strong perturbations on the market of aggregates (both gravel-sand and crushed stone), changes in demand for building materials and changes in the uses of ceramic and glass minerals.
