Abstract

BLEACHING AND REMOVING THE IRON OXIDES FROM KAOLIN PRODUCTS OCCURRING IN THE VICINITIES OF BOLESŁAWIEC, BY MEANS OF CHEMICAL METHODS Summary Reservoir rock properties of Dogger formations of Central Poland are discussed in the light of palaeogeographical conditions. In general, 220 determinations have been made of volume weight, effective porosity end permeability of samples taken from 5 bore holes. On the basis of the determinations and on geological data several stratigraphic-facial horizons were found to have peculiar physical properties favourable for migration and accumulation of hydrocarbons. Here belong: the peripheral part of Lower AaIenian; the Bajocian and Lower Vistulian horizons, as well as the Middle rand the Upper Bathonian ones. Moreover, impermeable horizons such as the Upper Aalenian, partly the Bajocian and the Middle Vesulian were distinguished, and their extents were determined. The Callovian was referred to the reservoir rocks associated with the Malm.
