Abstract
RESULTS OF STUDIES ON ENRICHMENT OF FLUORITE RAW MATERIALS FROM THE AREA KROBICA – ŚWIERADÓW
Summary
Fluorite quartzites from the area of Krobica-Świeradów were examined. To the main components of the quartzites belong: quartz, fluorite and muscovite. Sieve analysis demonstrates that the highest amount of fluorite is found in the class below 0.1 mm, thus the classes above 0.1 mm are thought to be waste material. To enrich the class below 0.1 mm, flotation method was applied and sodium oleate was used as collector. During the examinations were made one main flotation and two cleaning flotations. The fluorite concentrate obtained contains approximately 99% CaF2.
