Abstract
ROLE OF CRITICAL HADE IN DEVELOPMENT OF SUFFUSION OF WEATHERED PRODUCTS OF TRIASSIC ROCKS
Summary
The phenomenon of suffosion of weathered products is of particular importance for building industry, especially for hydraulic engineering. Since so far no bases of this phenomenon have been explained, the applied formulae can be used in the determined cases, within a strongly limited area. Special apparatus has been constructed to conduct studies on insulating properties of the weathered products of the Gogolin limestones and ore-bearing dolomites. On the basis of the researches made, the values of permeability coefficient and of critical hades were determined, and the results were given that show conditions at which the filtration deformation of soils begins. According to the results obtained, diagram were made to illustrate a dependence between the value of the critical hade and the permeability coefficients of the weathered products and of loamy materials, as well as between the permeability coefficients and the contents of clay and silt fractions.
