Abstract

STATIONARY INVESTIGATIONS OF DYNAMICS OF SLOPES BY MEANS OF PHOTOGRAMMETRIC METHODS

Summary
The researches of the right slope of the Vistula river valley made in the region of Płock using stationary photogrammetric surveys, have been carried on since 1963. The following are coefficients necessary for quantitative determination of the dynamics of processes on the slope in study: 1. Percentage of the terrain surface covered with changes, 2. Percentage of the terrain surface with diminution of mass, 3. Percentage of the terrain surface covered with shallow landslides and preliminary movements. The accepted coefficients allow to distinguish areas of various character and dynamics of the processes that take place on the slopes, and make possible to prognosticate the further development of a slope.
