Abstract
ON THE GENESIS OF MINERALS IN CONTRACTION FISSURES ORF CARBONATE EONCRETIONS-SEPTARIA
Summary
The present author discusses with J. Wojciechowski and J. Ziomek, who in the ,,Przegląd Geologiczy" Nr 11/1966 have published an article "On the occurrence of sphalerite in siderites of ore series at Łęczyca" discussing the genesis of minerals in the contraction fissures of carbonate concretions-septaria. Both J. Wojciechowski and J. Ziomek were of an opinion that the sphalerite and ankenite are of hydrothermal origin, whereas P.W. Zarickij refers this problem to the cold solution provenance. His opinion is based on exhaustive research works at these minerals to concretions-septaria that are found in the coal-bearing formations of the Donets Basin and of the Kladno coal basin in Czechoslovakia.
