NEW DATA ON THE LOWERMOST LOWER CAMBRIAN IN THE ŚWIĘTOKRZYSKIE MTS
Summary
Recently Platysolenites antiquissimus Eichw. has been found to occur in the Jasień Beds – the lower part of the sub-Holmia horizon of the Lower Cambrian in the Świętokrzyskie Mts., so far evidenced only by Coleoloides Walc. And Hyolithes sp. This allows us to make a better correlation of these formations with the lowermost members of the Cambrian from the Russian platform area.
