ABSORPTION ATOMIC SPECTROPHOTOMETRY – A NEW METHODS OF CHEMICAL ANALYSIS OF MINERALS AND ROCKS
Summary
After a short introduction into the theory of absorption atomic spectrophotometry the author discusses some details of instruments, and then the ways of preparing samples • for analysis. Based on the literature data he also illustrates numerous possibilities of applying this method in geological analytic laboratories. The advantages of the absorption atomic spectroscopy are emphasized by the present author in a comparison of this method with the other analytical methods, particularly with the emission flame photometry.
