POSSIBILITIES OF DAMPING MULTIPLE REFLECTIONS IN THE METHOD OF MULTIPLE COVERINGS (PART II)
Summary
This is the II part of a paper, the first part of which was printed in No 7 of our periodical. Some characteristic features of the scheme of firing are discussed in terms of its periodicity and the notion of diameter of residual in terms of its periodicity and the notion of diameter of residual energy that characterizes the remainder of the multiple reflexes are defined in relation to any accepted scheme of multiple covering. Certain examples are given as to the optimum dependence of filtration. of multiple reflexes upon the selection of the parameters of scheme, such as order of covering, distances between geophones, displacement of shot point and its situations in relation to the geophone spacing.
