EVALUATION OF SOILS FOR DIRECT FOUNDATION OF OBJECTS ON MAPS TO A SCALE 1 : 10000 AND GREATER
Summary
Determination of admissible unit loads on soil is one of the last phases in making engineering-geological maps. In such works we should base on the maps already published, mainly on documentary, geomorphologic, geologic and hydrogeologic maps. These maps allows us to construct a model of geological conditions, i.e. to distinguish spatial units uniform as concerns geological structure and hydrogeological conditions. The article concerns the problem of soil evaluation for direct foundation of objects on the maps to a scale 1: 10 000 and greater.
