ON STRUCTURAL POSITION OF NATURAL GAS OCCURRENCE IN THE BIESZCZADY AREA
Summary
During the experimental cartographic works conducted on the southern slopes of Połonina Wetlińska, natural gas seepage has been observed to occur in a stream near summit Smerek. The gas is colourless, combustible, characterized by petrol smell, and seeps out of the stream bottom in an amount of about 0.15 I/min. The authors have determined its structural position and the supposed direction of bitumen migration within structures, which depends upon the tectonic-facial relationships.
