ON THE POSSIBLY OF USING TRANSISTOR PROTON MAGNETAMETER IN GEOLOGICAL RESEARCHES
Summary
The article deals with the methodical magnetic surveys made within some selected regions, where observations of whole intensity of Earth’s magnetic field, at about 70 000 localities. The purpose of the work was to use a transistor proton magnetometers of TEP type in magnetic measurements. The instrument was constructed by the scientific workers of the Geophysical Department of the Polish. Academy of Sciences, under the leadership of J. Jankowski. The instrument under consideration may be of use in geological cartography mainly due to its high sensitivity and simple service.
