POLLEN GRAINS AND SPORES IN BUNTSANDSTEIN DEPOSITS
Summary
The article- presents the state of palynological studies on the Lower Triassic formations, and the possibility of using the effects of these studies for stratigraphical purposes. Taking into account the outstanding achievements in th1s field reported from the Soviet Union, the present author is of the opinion that the application of this method in determining the stratigraphy of the Buntsandstein deposits of Poland maybe of considerable importance.
