Abstract

DEPENDENCE OF AMPLITUDE OF SEISMIC WAVES UPON THE SIZE OF CHARGE AND THEIR INFLUENCE ON THE AMPLITUDE CHARACTERISTIC OF SHOT HOLE GROUPING

Summary
After introducing the reader into the so far obtained dependences between the value of amplitude of reflection waves, surface and incoherent waves, and the size of charge, as well as after introducing a notion of amplitude characteristics of shot hole grouping, the author presets his own results as to the dependence existing between the value of amplitude and the charge for marls, loesses and peats. As concerns both marls and peats, the results show that faster increase may be observed with an increase in charge of amplitude of reflection waves than of disturbing waves, whereas for loesses the situation is a reverse one. To obtain a useful amplitude characteristic, we may select the optimum quality of grouped shot holes by making an analys of the curve of a ratio [Ss]2/SnS2. The presence of a maximum on the curve (when n > 1) points to a purposefulness of applying the shot hole grouping.
