STRATIGRAPHIC-FACIAL CLASSIFICATION OF GROUND WATER BASINS IN THE SUDETIC AREA
Summary
The article presents a classification of the natural ground water basins found in the area of Sudetes, and within their foreland, according to the stratigraphic order, especially considering the facial subdivision, the most important features of water-bearing series, and the ground water. Quaternary, Tertiary and Cretaceous formations are here the most important basins, and hypergene water is here the commonest type.
