Abstract
CARBONIFEROUS AND LOWER PERMIAN DEPOSITS IN THE POLAKI BORE-HOLE
Summary
The present paper provides new data on the extent of the Carboniferous deposits in the Podlasie depression, supported by the petrographic examinations. These deposits have been distinguished in the stratigraphic sequence of the Polaki-1 bore-hole completed for oil and gas purposes. They create an additional reference-point for tracing the northern boundary of the Carboniferous extent.
