Abstract
POSSIBILITY OF USING IMPULSE NEUTRON-NEUTRON LOGGING IN DETERMINATION OF WATER-OIL CONTACT WITHIN THE PROMISING STRATIGRAPHICAL SERIES AND REGIONS OF POLAND
Summary
The paper presents perspectives concerning the possibilities of using impulse neutron logging in examining the water-oil contact under Polish geological conditions. These possibilities are presented in the light of a schematic review of sedimentary basins and geological regions of Poland, promising in search for crude oil. It has been ascertained that the best conditions tor studying the water-oil contact, by means of impulse neutron generators are within the most reservoir rocks of Palaeozoic age.
