Abstract

THE STRENGTH OF ROCKS IN THE AIR-DRY ZONE, ,IN THE ZONE OF THE CAPILLARY RISE AND IN THE ZONE ,OF WATER SATURATION Summary Drawing from the theoretical considerations, there were carried out compressive strength testings of Upper-Cretaceous, fully water saturated rocks in air as well as in water. There were experimentally pointed out the rightness of the theory about the influence of capillary water on the strength of rocks.
