Abstract

DECREPITOMETRY METHOD AND INSTRUMENT TO MEASURE INFORMATION TEMPERATURES OF MINERALS AND ROCKS Summary In the Geological Institute in Warsaw a prototype of an apparatus for measuring temperature of formations of minerals has been worked out, based on the acoustic record of sizzles. The article shortly discusses some details of the decrepitometer and presents preliminary methods of study. This is the first apparatus of this type installed in Poland. Preliminary Investigations proved the usefulness of the apparatus for the intentional research.
