Abstract
NEW DATA ON THE ORIGIN OF MINERALIZATION IN SIDERITE CONCRETIONS AT ŁĘCZYCA
Summary
The article gives the results of study of 10 samples taken from siderite deposits at Łęczyca. The genesis of sphalerite mineralization of this deposits has recently been discussed by J. Wojciechowski and P. W. Zaricky in the articles published in this periodical. The authors, describing the mode of occurrence of sphalerite grains, yield ample new material to the discussion, considering among others, the disseminated ZnS grains in the whole mass of the siderite concretion, and emphasizing a suggestive conclusion concerning the syngenesis of sphalerite mineralization.
