Abstract

GENETICAL SCHEME OF HYDROGEOLOGICAL CLASSIFICATION OF DEPOSITS IN SEDIMENTARY ROCKS Summary The author discusses the problem of hydrogeological classification of useful mineral deposits, so far not considered in Polish literature. Previous works concerning depositional hydrogeology are for the most part focussed on the reconnaissance of the hydrogeological conditions in mines, particularly in the Upper Silesia. Recently, the methods of hydrogeological documentation of hard coal mines have been worked out by J. Pałys, and the methods of hydrogeological investigations of brown coal deposits have been studied by J. Sztelak. The article deals with the results of these works and gives a genetical scheme of the hydrogeological classification of the deposits in sedimentary rocks.
