FACTORS AFFECTING THE PRECISENESS OF MICROHARDNESS MEASUREMENTS OF MINERAL RAW MATERIALS
Summary
Results of microhardness measurement of various samples of mineral raw materials may be objective and comparable only when conditions of measurement are identical. For that reason the article deals with a complex of factors that affect the preciseness of microhardness measurement, emphasizing the importance of the factors that are the result of the conditions under which the measurement is made, and of the conditions that depend upon the constructional features of the microhardness meter.
