Summary
Granulation of clay minerals in sedimentary rocks is an important typomorphic feature. The paper presents a relation between the shape of grain distribution curver of clay minerals in clay rocks, and conditions of their formation. There are also given characteristic grain size ranges, in which the individual clay minerals are grouped.
