Abstract
ZONATION OF TERTIARY DEPOSITS FROM NE PART OF ŁEBA ELEVATION ON THE BASIS OF BOREHOLE GEOPHYSIC DATA
Summary
Complex geophysical surveys were made during potash salt prospectings over Łeba elevation area. The surveys were aimed at establishing a detailed lithological profile of drilledthrough deposits overlying Zechstein series, as they were only partly cored. Detailed correlation of measurement curves between boreholes was also performed, which resulted in establishing geophysical systematics of the deposits in question, which made possible spatial reconstruction of the area’s geological structure. It was also found that not all of geophysical series and horizons distinguished are homogenous over the whole area studied.
