CHARACTERISTICS OF SOME GROUPS OF SATURATED HYDROCARBONS OCCURRING IN OIL FROM THE PERIBALTIC SYNECLIZE
Summary
A few oil-prospecting boreholes drilled on the Polish part of the Peribaltic Syneclize appeared positive. The amounts of oil found were without industrial value; these instances of oil occurrence, however, are very important for determining the characteristics of ore setting, as well as for studies on the genesis and migration routes of oil in this region. The characteristics of some groups of saturated hydrocarbons found in the oils from the Peribaltic Syneclize are given.
