THE EFFECTS OF DRAINAGE AND SIMULTANEOUS WATER PUMPING ON THE AREA OF THE OCCURRENCE OF PRESSURE OF WATER-BEARING HORIZON IN MIOCENE FORMATION
Summary
The paper deals with changes in hydrological conditions in ore exploited both by opencast method and by using boreholes of special construction. Opencast exploitation demands ore drainage, whereas hotwater mining method requires water pumping into ore series. The ore exploited by the above mentioned methods occurs in rocks forming extensive pressure water-bearing horizon. Studies on changes in hydrological conditions prevailing in that water-bearing horizon were performed using analogon calculations on hydraulic integrator. The results obtained formed a basis for prognosis of time changes in hydrogeological conditions caused by sulphur exploitation .
