NEW POSSIBILITIES OF INDUSTRIAL USE OF HOME SILICEOUS EARTH
Summary
The author discuss the problem of the industrial use of the home deposits of siliceous earth. This problem has for many years been an object of study, and numerous scientific materials have been obtained. The so far known deposits of decalcified rocks, enriched in silica, are restricted to four regions only. To the most valuable deposits belongs that at Piotrowice, where a processing plant has already been put into motion. An increased interest in Polish siliceous earths, noted in the last years, seems to be an optimal phenomenon. New intense research on the use of this home mineral raw material is continued.
