Abstract

GOLD-BEARING SANDS IN NW PART OF THE IZERA BLOCK Summary The paper deals with the results of searching for gold-bearing sands conducted by the slick method in NW part of the Izera block. Only 5 per cent but of 981 slick samples yielded high amount of gold grains. In the course of searching, three new, hitherto unknown areas of gold-bearing sands were found in the areas of Olszyna, Grodzica and Sulików.
