Summary
In most sedimentary rocks adsorption-diffusion potentials Eda are the most important component of spontaneous polarisation potentials observed in well loggin practice. So far no comprehensive laboratory method of Eda examination has been worked out, though some research works based on empirical data are carried on. The present paper discusses the results of investigations, time variations of Eda, and a relation between the quantity and some physical properties of sedimentary rocks.
