Abstract
WARPED JOINT IN THE FAULT ZONE
Summary
In the south-eastern limb of Wolbrom tectonic trough (Fig. 1), initially vertical planes of joint are found to be warped (Fig. 3) in the zone of a fadingout fault, which follows one of the cooccurring oblique planes of shear jointing (Fig. 2). The studies showed that the origin of the deforming fault and the resulting warp of vertical joint are the phenomena accompanying development of Wofurom trough and are somewhat younger than that structure.
