Abstract

NEW OCCURRENCES OF JURASSIC DAYS IN THE ŁUKÓW REGION Summary New data concerning the occurrence of Jurassic clays in the Łuków area are presented and discussed in the paper. Preliminary prospecting was carried out by vertical electric logging method according to Schlumberger system. The results served far projecting geological surveys of this region. Already the first drilling confirmed the results of interpretation of geoelectric logging. In the course of these geophysical and geological surveys, a new deposit of Jurassic clays was documented. Its resources only slightly differ from those forecasted in the project.
