Abstract

RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN MINERALIZATION AND RADIOACTIVITY PROPER OF MINE WATERS IN THE RYBNIK COAL BASIN Summary Correlative coefficients were calculated in order to establish relationships between the radioactivity proper and minerallization of Carboniferous waters of the Rybnik Coal Basin. The results obtained made it possible to determine dependance of radioactivity on waters mineralization with remarkable accuracy. The studies carried out implicate the possibility that there may be a certain regularity in those relationships common for the whole area of the Rybnik Coal Basin.
