Abstract

SOME PROBLEMS OF STUDYING RECENT EARTH'S CRUST MOVEMENTS Summary Definitions of parameters used in quantitative characteristics of Earth's crust movements are given. Theoretical basis of precise levelling and the resulting principles of establishing vertical movements of the Earth's crust are given. Methodology of studying continental drift by means of astronomical-geodetic methods is outlined.
