Abstract

GEOLOGICAL STRUCTURE OF THE ŁEBA ELEVATION IN THE LIGHT OF RECENT GEOPHYSICAL PROSPECTING WORKS Summary Seismic prospecting works hitherto carried out, and particularly those performed in the years 1971-1972, on the Łeba elevation area provided a great amount of valuable data concerning structure of this area. For the first time, on the Łeba elevation area the 6-fold reflection profiling with 600-meter shift from the interval was applied; this allowed for marked elimination of multiple waves and for a better recognition of structural-tectonic conditions in the early Paleozoic formations. Structural patern of those formations is characterized by a typical block structure. Particular blocks are delineated by faults, which may be interesting for further prospecting works.
