Abstract

SOME PROBIEMS OF OIL AND GAS PROSPECTING IN THE MIDDLE CAMBRIAN OF THE PERIBALTIC SYNECLIZE (PART II) Summary Distribution of porosity for Middle Cambrian strata is discussed and illustrated by the map (Fig. 9). Results of porosity estimations utilized in the construction of this map of mean porosities are given in Table 1. The influence of physical-chemical factors on reservoir capacity and hydrodynamic conditions prevailing in the top part of Middle Cambrian series are discussed in detail on the basis of borehole data.
