Summary
In geology, results of investigations are often presented in the form of contour mans. An automatically contoured map, made by means of a computer equipped with a plotter (remote drawing device) is a useful and convenient aid for processing geological data. The paper gives a review of methods of construction of contour maps on the basis of data d:rom unevenly distributed measuring points by means of electronic calculating techniques and plotters.
