ON THE CONDITIONS OF OCCURRENCE AND EXPLOITATION POSSIBILITIES OF POLISH GEOTHERMIC RESOURCES
Summary
The article gives criticism on the main theses of K. Schoeneich's article "Hot waters of Poland" published in the monthly "Nafta", No 8/1973. The following problems are discussed: indirect temperature measurements at great depths, dependance of geothermic gradient on the relief of top surface of crystalline substratum, delineation of heat field in areas convectively disturbed, and the effect of temperature and pressure upon mineralization of groundwaters. Also the problem of utilization of geothermic resources in Poland has been considered.
