Wpływ zmian wilgotności gruntu na jego strukturę na przykładzie badań jeziornych gruntów spoistych
Abstract
THE EFFECTS OF MOISTURE CHANGES ON SOIL STRUCTURE ON THE EXAMPLE OF LACUSTRINAL COHESIVE SOILS Summary A comparison of granulometric and aggregate composition of soils is made on the example of studies of lacustrinal deposits. Studies made on a sample with unchanged structure show that soil drying process does not affect granulometric composition but it leads to some changes in aggregate composition. Moisture decrease is accompanied by growth of waterproof aggregates; their size, by the same fraction content, also increases to some extent. This phenomenon has been defined as structural index of drying changes.Downloads
