CERAMIC CLAYS FROM THE MASTKI AREA (ŁOWICZ REGION)
Summary
The occurrence of clay Neogene deposits in the area of Mastki village at the depth of 2,5 m is discussed. The deposits are of great importance for the production of ceramic building materials. The clays with positive industrial chemical-technological parameters form three series 11,5, 16,2, and 17,8 m thick, respectively. Laboratory analyses of these series indicate applicability of the clays for various purposes in the production of ceramic building materials. The conditions of the occurrence of the deposits are favourable for exploitation. The resources are estimated as the great ones. Soon detailed geological examinations of the deposits will be initiated
