Abstract
THE MEASUREMENTS OF THE THERMOLUMINESCENCE OF MINERALS AND ROCKS BY THE METHOD OF THERMOLUMINESCENCE ANALYSER
Summary
A device for studying thermoluminescence of minerals and rocks is described. The device differs from other devices of this type presently used in markedly simpler system realizing the temperature program and in the possibility of both qualitative and quantitative estimations of the thermoluminescence phenomenon. The device was exploited for over two years and the results obtained fully confirm its usefulness. Some results of thermoluminescence studies conducted by means of this device are presented.
