SOME PROBLEMS OF INTERPRETATION AND USE OF BOREHOLE GEOPHYSICAL DATA
Summary
The author discusses application and use Of geophysical borehole data in Poland on the background of recent developments in this discipline in other countries. Systems of reading of geophysical records and the surveys of deep boreholes are characterized. It is noted that remarkable progress was recently made in geophysical borehole surveying and in interpretation and use of geophysical data. At the same time, however, geophysical borehole survey in Poland is in some points backward in comparison with techniques and methods of interpretation applied in other countries. The analysis performed showed that it is necessary to accelerate development of this discipline in our country.
