Abstract

CORRELATION OF ORE-BEARING DOLOMITES FROM THE ZAWIERCIE AREA ON THE BASIS OF BOREHOLE DATA Summary The detailed analytic studies on the content of zinc and lead in the ore-bearing dolomites have shown the occurrence of three ore-bearing horizons separated by spoil horizons in the vertical section. The distribution of zinc and lead ores in the ore-bearing dolomites was confirmed by the results of well-logging. This indicates the possibility of the subdivision of the ore-bearing dolomites into three ore-bearing and three spoil horizons and their correlation on the basis of the results of chemical analyses (Zn, Pb and Fe) and well-logging data.
