METHODOLOGY AND INTERPRETATION OF GEOPHYSICAL MATERIALS USED IN IDENTIFICATION OF THE ROTLIEGENDES DEPOSITS
Summary
Geological characteristics of Rotliegendes strata of Poland is given. Moreover, the methodology of interpretation of the results of geological studies on drilling materials, used in identification of reservoir horizons of the Rotliegendes, estimations of their saturation, as well as in identifications of lithological types of deposits and in characterizing of their matrix, is discussed. This methodology markedly changed when the acoustic logging was introduced. The results of interpretation may be used in preparation of maps of porosity, facies changes, etc.
