Abstract
AIKINITE, HAMMARITE AND REZBANYITE MINERALS IN ORE MINERALIZATION FROM PILICA
Summary
Aikinite including ingrowths of hammarite and rezbanyite has been identified in the Paleozoic mineralization occurring in the Silurian rocks north of Cracow. The minerals were encountered in the quartz - chlorite veins with sphalerite – chalcopyrite mineralization. Results of the microprobe X-ray analyses are consistent with composition of these minerals according to the Moore's classification of the bismuthinite - aikinite series.
