Abstract
POSSIBILITIES OF USE OF MULTIDIMENSIONAL FILTRATION IN REFLECTIVE SEISMICS
Summary
The examples of performed processes of multidimensional filtering (deghosting , velocity filter - fan filter and two-dimensional filtering) are discussed. These processes along with the process of removal of multiple reflections are used in the current practise. The paper deals only with discussion of algorithms and examples of calculations made with their use. The examples of calculations presented here show high effectiveness of these methods of multidimensional transformations. It is suggested to initiate a research project aimed at preparation of programmes for calculations using computer EMR 6130/35. The works should start with preparation of the programme for two-dimensional filtering. That programme may be also used in selecting parameters of spacing geophones and drillings, and of filtering, and even in the technique of multiple covering. The input data for these studies are represented by recorded wave image.
