THE RESULTS OF PALYNOLOGICAL STUDIES ON NEOGENE DEPOSITS OF SOUTH-WESTERN POLAND

Summary
Palynological studies carried out in the Institute of Paleobotany of the Wrocław University deal with the following Naogene rocks of the south-western Poland: II Lusatian brown-coal seam Henryk brown coal seam, clay deposits of the Poznań series and Gozdnica series deposits. The results obtained made it possible to trace changes in vegetation since the Middle Miocene to Pliocene, as well as to date and correlate geologicaI series from the areas studied (Table 1).
