Abstract
THE ORIGIN OF THE POLISH BALTIC SEA-SHORE
Summary
Numerous papers have been published on the origin of the Polish Baltic sea-shore. About a dozen of hypotheses may be gathered up into two groups, as follows:
a) hypotheses based on exogenous factors as main forces, taking part in scoping the shore-line, and
b) hypotheses based on endogenous factors thought to be decisive ones.
The conception presented in this paper inclines to the second group of hypotheses. The author presents a relationship between the main elements of the shore-line and the distribution of neotectonic movements.
