Abstract

VARIABILITY OF SULPHUR DEPOSIT AND ITS RECOGNITION Summary The article deals with the outstanding problem comprising the statistic analysis of geological facts recorded during the reconnaissance works on the deposit. Basing on the rich observation material gathered at the time of reconnaissance works conducted on the sulphur deposit at Machów, the present authors discuss the variability of the deposit and consider the value of its recognition as well as analyse some aspects of reconnaissance work methods. The deposit was recognized by means of a regular network of bore holes in the categories C2, C1 and B.
